Dr. Linda Blough, DVM

Dr. Blough was born in Michigan and went to Michigan State University for both undergraduate studies and veterinary school.  She graduated in 1981 and started to work as a veterinarian in Alma, MI in a farm animal practice.

After getting married and starting a family, Dr. Blough switched over to a small animal practice.  And decided to start her own business!  In 1989, she bought the building we are currently in from the Jehovah Witnesses and converted it into a veterinary hospital.  Over the years, Dr. Blough’s three children have grown up and started their own careers.

Dr. Blough is a member of the Southeastern Veterinary Medical Association, serves on the board for the Michigan Veterinary Medical Associations Companion Animal division and is currently vice president of the Macomb Veterinary Association.

Continuing education has always been a strong belief for Dr. Blough and she frequently attends conferences throughout the years.  Recently, Dr. Blough has become certified in PennHip x-rays – a technique that is more accurate than other forms of predicting hip dysplasia in animals.  There is a link for more information about PennHip on this site.

For fun, Dr. Blough likes to ride her horses, work her dogs in agility and breed her Bengal cats.

Throughout all of the years of practice and marriage my husband, John has always been a big support.

Dr. Terri Lyon, DVM

Dr. Lyon is currently a resident of Rochester Hills, where she lives with her husband and daughter.  She and her family enjoy many outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, biking, rollerblading and gardening.  She is an avid bowler, a sport she participates in with both her husband and daughter.

Dr. Lyon enjoys the challenges veterinary medicine offers, as well as the opportunity to help animals and people.
